Founded in 2015, Trengco Energy (M) Sdn Bhd officially began its journey as a manpower supply and general engineering services provider. Since incorporation on 17 June 2015, the company has steadily expanded its service portfolio, aligning with its vision to serve the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors with reliability and innovation.
With a lean yet skilled team of around 10–50 dedicated professionals. Trengco Energy upholds a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in everything it does.
Our Evolution
2015–2016: Laying the Foundation
We began by offering manpower supply, basic on-site maintenance, and equipment services to clients in Kerteh and nearby industrial facilities.
Mid-Growth Phase: Expansion of Capabilities
Over the following years, we expanded our service offerings to include civil, mechanical, piping, and structural maintenance, as well as valve servicing, painting & insulation, cleaning & desludging, and waste treatment. This diversification marked a major step in our growth and technical maturity.
2022–Present:Strategic Collaboration & Financial Growth
In 2022, we partnered with a UAE-based company to introduce in-service robotic tank inspection and cleaning to the Malaysian market, positioning ourselves at the forefront of industrial innovation.
Since then, we have secured several high-value contracts that significantly boosted our financial performance. In 2023 alone, we recorded a ~33% increase in net sales revenue, reflecting strong market confidence and operational excellence—despite a slight adjustment (~8% decline) in our asset base, our strategic focus and governance remain strong.
